Laundry List

I got asked by a niece and nephew when they could expect to see copies of "The Storm Drain Chronicles: Enter the Storm Drain."  Whoo-wee, that's a loaded question right now!  That makes at least three of us wondering, I suppose.  As I see it, here is the high-level laundry list of things that need to be done:

1. Finish first revision (In progress)
2. Alpha review first revision (on deck)
3. Incorporate alpha review revisions, resulting in second revision
4. Alpha review second revision
5. Incorporate alpha review second review revisions
6. Beta review
7. Incorporate beta review revisions
8. Finalize beta reviewed revision
9. Seek out literary agent
10. Acquire services of literary agent
11. Submit to publishers
12. Contract with publisher
13. Get published!

There are probably a hundred other tasks/milestones in there somewhere, but right now, I'm heads down on steps one and two, which have some overlap and I hope that steps three through five will be quick, too.  quick, of course, being a relative term.

Thoughts on the list?  Too much?  Not enough?  Tips for making it go faster?
